Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more than preserving the appearance of never being wrong.

Last updated September 9, 2026

What we correct

We correct factual inaccuracies, materially misleading summaries, broken source attribution, incorrect dates or figures, and other errors that could meaningfully affect a reader’s understanding.

How corrections are handled

Minor typographical changes may be made without a formal note. Material corrections should be identified in a way that makes the change understandable to readers.
